Good Morning everyone,

Another bright sunny morning here on Easter Sunday.  I bet you're all going 'seasick' with all the different backgrounds I've been playing around with.  Truth is, I'm new to blogging and finding my way as I go, so to speak.  Found some great backgrounds at Blog Designs by Dani...all I have to do now is figure out how to stretch the header to fit right across the top.

If anyone knows where I'm going wrong, please feel free to point me in the right direction!! Lol

I'm having family for dinner, so I hope you all have a craft filled glorious day.

hugs
xx

Japanese Tilda

Hi,

What a gorgeous day it  has been here today, most of which I spent out in the garden......but...I just had to try out my new magnolia stamps, and this is what I came up with.

Used my nestabilities for the layers, coloured with pro markers...(waiting for my new copics to come in the post!!).  I made the flowers using pearlised ivory paper, a heart punch, and then edged the shapes with versa colour (peony).  Finally added a little glitter. The leaves were made with a marianne die cut.

EK success border punch and some ribbon and gems from my stash.

I am pleased with the way it turned out.

I am entering this in the following challenges.

Happy Easter

Hi there, just wanted to say a Happy Easter to everyone who visits.  I have just received a new set of magnolia stamps in the post, so am hoping to get started on some lovely cards over the weekend.  There is so much inspiration out there, and I am in awe of some of the beautiful creations that other bloggers have achieved.  I just hope I can rise to the challenge....well nothing ventured as they say.

memory album

Here is a memory album I have just completed.  I used the Tim Holtz papers collection. and other cardstock, along with a mixture of various papers.  I got the idea for this album from Laura Dennison (followthepapertrail.blogspot.com). Thanks Laura!!  Embellishments have yet to be added to the inside when I decide who it is for. A great way of keeping those special photographs and memorabilia.

paper roses.

Just finished making these cute paper roses.  Used a pearlescent paper, inked the edges,  and used a fine glitter.  I may put up a video on how I made them when I get the time to make it.
